Als Tanya Lokshina von Human Rights Watch eine E-Mail von “Edward Snowden” erhielt war sie erst einmal skeptisch. Eine Einladung, vom angeblich weltweit begehrtesten Menschen, hatte den Hauch aus der Zeit des Kalten Krieges – ein Spionage-Thriller. Am Flughafen Sheremetyevo wurde sie dann auch erwartet. The invitation, supposedly from one of the world’s most sought-after people, had a whiff of Cold War-era spy thriller to it. The note instructed me to go to the arrivals hall of Sheremetyevo Airport, where “someone from airport staff will be waiting there to receive you with a sign labeled ‘G9.’” What would you think?
